Located in the heart of rural West Norfolk, Barge Cottages are within a stones throw of the clear waters of the River Nar. Whether you are looking for a relaxing break, or to explore Norfolk’s many attractions, we are sure you will enjoy your stay.
Guests have access to 1.5 miles of private river bank walks and are able to fish the River Nar within view of the cottages.
Fishing day tickets are free of charge to our guests. We can offer fly fishing in the main river, as well as coarse fishing in our small lake and an area of the river close to the cottages.
Barge Cottages has two properties available for holiday rental all year round. We can also offer longer lets if required.
The cottage interiors are modern in style whilst still maintaining a ‘cottage’ feel, with exposed beams and sloping ceilings in the upstairs rooms.
